Alex & Alyssa…
This is no tale of love at first sight. This is a tale of persistence on the groom’s part, and a love that grew from friendship into something that will last a lifetime.
A lifetime complete with a bride whose smile was contagious.
And a true comfort between each other, that didn’t even need prompted for photos. They were naturally adorable together and smitten with each other.
Alex didn’t even get to the states until the Wednesday before the wedding. He was stuck in the UK due to an extremely slow visa process. And yet, when I spoke to Alyssa a week before the wedding, she was completely laid back. Anybody else would have been freaking. out.
And let’s just talk about the shoes. Gorgeous.
And they carried the bride into the most incredible venue for an unbelievable masquerade wedding, complete with cameos from The Batman and The Dark Side.
But even in such an amazing space, the love between Alex, Alyssa, and their families and friends is what really stood out.
Alex and his mom belted out U2 for their dance to keep her tears at bay.
I’d say everything about this wedding was a success.
What an amazing day, and I hope it leads to an amazing life for these two.
