Jenn & Bill | Married

Where to start on this wedding…

There were too many personal touches and sweet sentiments scattered throughout this wedding to count.

They FaceTimed with Grandma for the ceremony, who was in the hospital.

A loved one arranged their entire candy bar.

They had photo scavenger hunts on the tables, as well as a photo booth for their guests.

The couple left at the end of the anniversary dance had been married FIFTY-SEVEN years.

The bride lost her father a few years ago.  So she had a pendant made with his photo, and tied it to her bouquet so that he would be with her.

Her brothers walked her down the aisle, where a candle was lit for him at the altar.

She brought flowers to his grave and had a special moment.

Are you crying yet?  Because I did a few times.

Especially when she had her daddy/daughter dance to “Daddy Dance With Me,” and each of her dad’s three brothers took a turn dancing with her.

Not a dry eye in the house.

And you know the obnoxious clinking of the glasses that happens every two seconds?

Yeah, they nipped that in the bud.

If anybody wanted to see the newlyweds get their smooch on, they had to:

A) Dance to “Sexy and I Know It,” (entire tables did this)

B) Put some good ol’ cash in a fireman’s helmet that would be donated to the fire department Jenn’s dad worked for.

C) I don’t remember the last one, but the first two were hilarious enough, because everybody who donated kept giving bigger and bigger bills to get better and better reactions.  Which resulted in a bit of a competition.   We’ll just leave it at that…

It was a love-filled, laugh-filled, emotional, perfect, happy day for Jenn & Bill and I am so happy that I was there for the ride!

Here’s to 57+ years of happiness for the two of you.
