So this wedding almost didn’t happen.
Well, the wedding would have. Which is wonderful, because it’s a wedding that was so beyond meant to happen. But me working at this wedding – yeah, that was a close call. But after I rearranged a few things, everything worked out.
And I couldn’t be happier that it did!
As an added bonus, they are friends of the family, so my mom was also able to attend with my oldest daughter. And she fit in perfectly – one of her best friends was the flower girl, and as you will see, it was about as kid-friendly of a reception as they come! The first dance even had a few special guests.
One thing that I really loved about this day was that everything was such a reflection of the couple. They chose to spend their money in ways that were very true to them as people, and as a couple. The bar… the band… and favors that tied the two together.
What was even more lovely was how comfortable Liz & Garrett were (are) together. Both individually and as a couple, they were just effortless. And they were just there to become husband and wife and to enjoy their day with family and friends. And that’s what they did…
Elizabeth & Garrett – Thank you so much for including me in your amazing day! I am so glad everything worked out, and I hope you had an incredible time in Thailand! I wish you countless years of good music together with bottomless glasses. ❤
